Welcome to ZOYO Travel B.V. (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing our website and submitting a booking request, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers who access or use our services at https://amsmuseumtours.com/ (the “Website”).
We offer guided tours and experiences in Amsterdam and surrounding areas. Our services include, but are not limited to:
Guided walking tours
Canal cruise tours
Museum visits and guided experiences
Combined tour packages
All tours are operated subject to availability, weather conditions, and minimum group size requirements.
IMPORTANT: Our website operates a booking request system. Submitting a booking request does NOT constitute a confirmed booking. Availability is not guaranteed until you receive written confirmation from our team.
3.1 How the Booking Process Works
Step 1 — Submit a Request: Complete the booking request form on our website, selecting your preferred tour, date, number of participants, and providing your contact details.
Step 2 — Manual Review: Our team will review your request and check availability for your selected date and tour. Within 2 hours you will receive a response about our availability.
Step 3 — Confirmation or Alternative: We will contact you by email to either confirm availability or propose alternative dates if your requested date is unavailable.
Step 4 — Payment Link: Once you confirm your acceptance of the booking, we will send you a secure payment link via email. Payment must be completed within 48 hours of receiving the payment link to secure your booking.
Step 5 — Booking Voucher: Upon successful payment, you will receive a booking confirmation voucher by email. Your booking is only confirmed upon receipt of this voucher.
3.2 No Instant Confirmation
We do not offer instant booking confirmation. All bookings are subject to manual review and confirmation by our team. You will not be charged until you have received a payment link following confirmation of availability.
3.3 Booking Request Expiry
Booking requests are held for a maximum of 48 hours after we send you the payment link. If payment is not received within this period, the provisional booking will be released and the date may become unavailable.
4.1 Prices
All prices are listed in Euros (EUR) and include applicable VAT where required. Prices displayed on the website are per person unless otherwise stated.
Prices are subject to change without notice. However, once you have received a payment link, the price quoted will be honoured for 48 hours.
4.2 Payment Methods
Payment is processed via a secure payment link sent to your email. We accept the following payment methods:
Visa and Mastercard credit/debit cards
iDEAL (Netherlands)
PayPal
Other methods as indicated on the payment page
All payments are processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store your card details.
4.3 Payment Security
All transactions are encrypted using SSL technology. Our payment processing complies with PCI DSS standards. You will never be asked to provide payment details through our website form or by email.
5.1 Cancellation by the Customer
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to our email address. The following cancellation policy applies:
More than 7 days before the tour date: Full refund of the tour price. The service fee is non-refundable.
3–7 days before the tour date: 50% refund of the tour price. The service fee is non-refundable.
Less than 3 days before the tour date: No refund
No-show on the day of the tour: No refund
5.2 Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a tour due to:
Insufficient minimum group size
Severe weather conditions or force majeure events
Illness or unavailability of the guide
Safety concerns or official restrictions
In the event of cancellation by us, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule to an alternative date.
5.3 Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
Requests to change a confirmed booking (e.g., different date, number of participants) must be submitted at least 48 hours before the tour. Changes are subject to availability and may incur an administration fee of €5.
We cannot guarantee that requested changes can be accommodated. If a change cannot be fulfilled, you may choose to keep the original booking or cancel in accordance with our cancellation policy.
By booking a tour with us, you agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information in your booking request
Arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled tour start time
Follow the instructions of your guide at all times
Behave respectfully towards other participants, guides, and members of the public
Ensure that all members of your party are physically able to participate in the chosen tour
Inform us of any medical conditions, disabilities, or dietary requirements relevant to your participation
Late arrivals of more than 15 minutes may result in forfeiture of the booking without refund.
ZOYO Travel B.V. takes all reasonable steps to ensure the safety and quality of our tours. However, participation in tours is at your own risk.
We are not liable for:
Loss, theft, or damage to personal property during a tour
Personal injury arising from failure to follow guide instructions
Delays or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control (force majeure)
Inaccuracies in third-party information (e.g., museum opening hours)
Our maximum liability to you in respect of any booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that booking.
We collect and process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and our Privacy Policy. By submitting a booking request, you consent to us processing your data for the purpose of managing your booking.
We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us at the details below.
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and tour descriptions, is the property of ZOYO Travel B.V. and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these terms or from the use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
We encourage customers to contact us directly in the first instance to resolve any complaints or disputes informally before pursuing formal legal proceedings.
Our website may display advertisements. We are committed to ensuring that all advertising on our platform complies with applicable advertising policies, including Google Ads policies. We do not make misleading claims about our services, pricing, or booking process.
Any pricing shown in advertisements reflects the starting price for the relevant tour. Final pricing is confirmed during the booking process.
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of our website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
For bookings already confirmed at the time of any changes, the terms in force at the time of booking will apply.
